Monogram Monday: In LOVE

My sister and BIL got me this gorgeous necklace for Christmas that I had been eyeing up forever!  I never thought I would get it and it was such a nice surprise…I must have been a VERY good girl this year!  ;)  

It came in a bit later than expected, which in my opinion was great!  I got to enjoy all my gifts and then this one came and it was even more fun!  I have worn it all weekend! 

Next on my list of monograms….

Wedding Christmas Ornament

My latest creation…A Christmas Ornament made from Wedding Invitation. 

What a great gift to give to a newlywed couple!  

One I made for my friend, Leslie, and her hubby.  

Hard to see in this picture, but this is my sister's "creamsicle" colored invitation with matching bow.

Here is one in black and white, which look very elegant for those formal invitations.

A rustic invitation.  I tried to tie burlap on this one, but it kept fraying :(
But I think the charcoal ribbon looked pretty nice too.

Don't Forget About Fido

No, my dog's name isn't "Fido," that's just the nickname my uncle gave him and every once in a while he gets called by that! 

This weekend I was at a party where I was reminded that "Christmas is only 64 days away," which now is 62 days.  So, have you started shopping?

Clever Coat Idea

Does your guy ever leave his jacket behind at a wedding?  Or you're not sure which coat is his, as they all have the basic black sport coat/tux jacket?

How about adding a monogram inside the jacket so you never are mistaken again? 

My mom is going to do this with my dad's jackets and I think it's a great idea!
