Well, friends, I'm looking for the top Red Velvet Cupcake recipe.
My sister just LOVES RVC, and I'm determined to find the BEST recipe for her! My mom and I made these (well, really my mom did), from Barefoot Contessa's new cookbook that I got for Christmas. And I have to say, we are a little disappointed. They were pretty darn dry!
So, if you have any of your favorite recipes for this kind of cupcake, let me know.
I have a couple more recipes that I'm going to try, and with all this snow they are forcasting in the next couple days, I'm hoping to be in the kitchen baking away!

Girl, when you find that perfect red velvet recipe let me know! I have made many cakes in my time, and my mom has some great ones. I wonder if they could somhow just be used in cupcake form?
