I love having a candle lit when I have guests over, but I have read and heard that eventually it can make your ceiling look black. Yuck! (I think it takes quite a while for this to happen, but regardless, I do not want my newly painted home looking dusky.)
So, I saw a bunch of potpourri recipes on pintrest and decided to try mix one up on my own.
Ingredients that I used
cranberries
orange, quartered
whole cloves
cinnamon sticks
nutmeg
Directions
Combine all ingredients and add water.
Let simmer on low heat.

I bet this smells amazing! Ok, have you heard of Scentsy? They have candle warmers and all sorts of scented waxes. I used them in my classroom with the kids every day. They can be plugged in for hours and hours and I never worry about smoke or fire! Have a great weekend, love!
ReplyDeleteI love this recipe. I always try to cook cranberry and oranges on my stove during the holidays. I will definitely be giving this one a try! xo
ReplyDeleteI love some mulling spices from Williams Sonoma mixed with apple cider. So easy and smells amazing. I want to try your recipe though and probably will this year. Pinning it!
ReplyDeleteI am ready to pull out some mulling spices. Loving the addition of citrus! Definitely trying this out this weekend. Stopping by from FF&P's Let's Eat!
